Basic Functions
Responsible for: The Training Management System (TMS) Administrative
Technician assists the TMSC with the supervision and coordination of the
installation, operation, and maintenance of the MNG Automated Training
Management System. Directly responsible for all aspects of record keeping
requirements for the MNG flight training and non-flight training programs.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
* Duties/responsibilities:
* The TMS technician coordinates and facilitates the integration, operation, and maintenance of training management software and systems in support of instructor cadre personnel to include:
* Assist in the supervision and management in the daily operation of the TMS.
* Forecast, schedule, monitor and report the recurring training related resource requirements for all training programs.
* Provide regular status reports on class and individual student progress.
* Coordinate and synchronize training management support with all primary and support organizations through regularly scheduled meetings and conferences.
* Maintain individual training records for customer personnel in support of MNG training requirements.
2. The TMS Technician will manage the Training Management System (TMS) to
facilitate the efficient execution of the following:
* Scheduling classes.
* Tracking individual progress.
* Providing accurate and timely status reports.
* Recommending changes to improve performance and efficiencies of all training programs.
3. The TMS Technician assist the TMSC in initiating, updating, and
maintaining formal and informal training records for all live, virtual, and
hands-on training to include OJT courses.
4. The TMS Technician will assist the TMSC in developing and maintaining a
TMS SOP.
5. Assist the TMSC in coordinating the certification of training courses by
the end customer with MNG support.
6. TMS Technician supports all qualification and sustainment training
activities to include:
a. Recording all training requirements, events, and proficiency results in
support of all training programs.
b. Assists all trainers and course managers in meeting their program training
requirements.

B. Independence: The TMS Technician must operate with a degree of independence
in order to proactively apply past experiences to eliminate possible
scheduling conflicts, as well as applying lessons learned from current
courses.
C. Supervisory Responsibilities: None.
Minimum Qualifications
* Education Level: High school graduate, Associate's Degree preferred.
* Experience: Experience in computer systems and data entry.
C. Specific knowledge, skill, and ability requirements: Proficient with TMS,
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite to prepare various reports, charts, and
other related documents. Training Development Capabilities Course, Instructor
Trainer Course. Possesses a valid driver's license.
