Project Overview:
Bechtel and its consortium partners are excited to begin hiring the completion
teams which will finalize the monumental Riyadh Metro Project (RMP), currently
estimated at ‎94% complete. The BACS consortium, which includes Almabani
General Contractors, Consolidated Contractors Company, and Siemens, is
responsible for the design, construction, train cars, and signaling as well as
electrification and integration of the new lines to the rest of the system.
Riyadh 's population of nearly ‎6 million is forecast to increase to ‎8 million
by ‎2030. The new metro system will meet the demands of the growing population
while reducing traffic congestion and improving air quality.

Position Summary:
Bechtel is seeking for Station Controller (Non - Operational Stations) to
join the Riyadh Metro Project. The Station Controller role is a specialist
role similar to the Railways/Metro Station Operations master and candidates
need to be carefully selected in accordance with specialist skillsets and /or
demonstration of previous related experience.

Candidates will be considered if they can demonstrate inter-changeable
relevant skills, inter-changeable relevant knowledge, and/or demonstrate the
motivation to undertake train and undertake a safety-critical role which
requires an authoritarian individual who is ready to assume the responsibility
for the supervision and safety of others.

Responsibilities:
* BACS Station Controller (Operational Transition Team) are the eyes and ears of the operation control center and during Train operation they are essential to ensure safe evacuation and operate related equipment 's as per procedure in Non - operational stations.
* When required, reports unavailability of part or all of the Non-operational station to the OCC Chief Controller.
* Responsible for the execution of emergency scenario plans and assistance of passengers during a train evacuation within the station.
* Station Controller must always learn and respect strict operational and safety procedures.
* Ultimately multiple Station Controller will be needed to ensure to handle any emergency during passenger service at Non-operational station.
* Station Controller candidates will undertake a thorough training program in accordance with the BACS Operational transition Team Training Matrix to ensure readiness to undertake responsibilities and tasks.
* Successful completion of this training to the required standard is a pre-requirement prior to undertaking the role of Station Controller.

Working Hours:
* The scope of work of the Station Controller will require flexibility to work both day and night shifts of varied durations at stations or onboard trains.
* Shift times and duration will vary depending on operational requirements but will generally be of minimum ‎8 hours and maximum ‎12 hours.

Station Controller Trainer & Mentoring Functions:
* Flexibility is essential and these candidates may also be asked to provide Training and /or other operational support to Operations team as requirements dictate.
* BACS Station Controller will report to the BACS Stations Manager (Non- Operational stations) however station controller will interface and take instruction from the operation control center who is responsible for all train movements and passenger service

Pre-requisites:
* Strong authoritarian
* Non-compromising with regards safety and application of Procedures
* Previous similar or inter-changeable experience in rail or safety environment
