Primary responsibility is to provide leadership and direction for the
efficient operations and maintenance of all electrical, mechanical,
structural, fire and life safety systems in facility. The specific areas of
responsibility include but are not limited to Employee Management and
Development, customer satisfaction, staff productivity and efficiency
Responsibilities

Single Point of Contact for engineering and data center client team
Develop new maintenances program for existing and new systems
Create and upload job plan for new and existing assets
System Owner in various operation system
Develop strategy plan for preventive maintenances
Manage system improvement plans for various systems (Fire System, Utilities,
etc.)
Manage operations, maintenance, and capital improvements of all Life Safety,
Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, Security and Elevator systems.
Evaluate in conjunction with Reliability Engineer and System Owners the
existing preventive maintenance scheduling intervals and work to maintain,
update and improve the operational efficiency of the CMMS system.
Analyze equipment downtime ramification and develops Emergency Response Action
Plans (ERAP) in the event of equipment failure.
Oversees training and support aimed at expanding the capabilities of the
operations and maintenance staff.
Skills

Strong technical knowledge of building systems, data center, UPS, electrical,
mechanical, HVAC, etc. · Business acumen including financial planning and
analysis must be able to manage within budget and time constraints. ·
Experienced in testing and commissioning of new buildings. · Experienced in
management of DLP programs.
Competencies

Works well with others and can build key relationships with cross-functional
teams. · Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as
interpersonal skills. · Time-management skills and the ability to work under
pressure to ensure the efficient running of an event.
Able to see things from the client’s standpoint, listen and observe to
anticipate client’s needs. · Previous experience in data centres, investment
banking or other critical environments.
Experience

‎5 to ‎8 years of facilities engineering and operations experience, required.
Qualifications

• Qualification/certification in at least one engineering discipline of electrical, mechanical and building projects. · Business level English and Arabic · Presentation skills, team management skills and project management skills
