Job Details
* Is responsible for Occupational Health service and Safety Management System to ensure correct standard is provided to all employees in alignment to JCI HS Philosophy
* Develop and Issue Safety Management System supported by regional documents according to quality • Audit the effectiveness of the Safety Management System and report issues to top management
* Improve and modify Safety Management System to protect organization against litigation and prosecution
* Follow recent developments in the legislation and advise company on compliance
* Create country-wide resource basis for legal advice on all H&S and Environmental matters
* Act as the prime contact to the HSE authorities, maintain and foster good relations with the HSE authorities
* Develop Programs and coach regional trainers for Preventive Programs
* Liaise with insurers for all company liability claims, property protection etc
* Communicate H&S and E performance to management
* Cooperate with regional purchasing team to identify opportunities for cost savings related to HSEE matters. • Challenge breaches in safety standards • Provide training as appropriate
* Organize and implement Standardized personal protective program in order to ensure correct standard personal protective equipment is provided at an acceptable cost
* Conduct H&S Compliance Audits in accordance with the regional quality instructions and communicate audit results to management
* Provide service to the local coordinators in the accounts by performing relatively simple "in house" statutory required measurements at no costs (noise measurements, infrared thermo-graphic surveys, etc...)
* In addition to the above-mentioned tasks, other activities and responsibilities may be individually defined.
* Recruits, hires, and retains operational staff. Prepares and delivers clear performance expectations, performance reviews and development plans for direct reports teaming with the appropriate matrix functional manager. Ensures a consistent level of coaching.
* Follow all Health & Safety and Environmental requirements that are defined on work instructions or communicated in training - Follow required emergency prevention and operational controls - Report all accidents, occupational illnesses and emergencies
* Quality: - Apply, execute and maintain function related quality issues
* Diplom a , Health & Safety qualification
* Minimum 2 years' experience
