KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES & ACTIVITIES

Key Accountabilities

Key Activities

Safety & Quality Assurance Management

• Responsible for ensuring that safety procedures are strictly adhered by all flight deck crew and Flynas staff.


• Responsible to ensure flight safety incidents and accidents are reported to GACA and AIB within ‎48 hours of the occurrence.


• Responsible to ensure all documents and reports pertaining to flight operations incidents are uploaded to the safety system regularly without delays.


• Responsible to follow-up with the GACA and AIB on the reported occurrences and provide any needed support in case the need arise.


• Responsible to conduct safety risk assessment against all flight safety hazard reports and advise the flight ops department with recommendations and corrective actions.


• Responsible to provide the Safety supervisor with the monthly incidents data reports to be submitted to IATA IDX system.


• Determine and analyze hazardous conditions and assign risk assessment codes.


• Responsible to evaluate hazardous condition thru safety observations/walk arounds.


• Gather data from regular checks, compile, analyze and summarize to identify trends and present to VP Safety & Quality.


• Prepare reports and analyze monthly statistics for aircraft damage, incidents, etc.


• Prepare and perform the SAGs meetings as assigned by VP S&Q and support in the preparation of the SRB meeting


• Conduct Audits and Inspections as assigned by VP S&Q


• Prepare and conduct flight safety awareness programs to enhance staff awareness and prevention of aircraft incidents and accidents.


• Prepare and disseminate flight safety memo and bulletin.


• Responsible for the implementation of safety culture and housekeeping that ensures efficient and safe flights operations.


• Responsible for monitoring and analysing safe working practice related to flight operations.


• Perform any other task (s) as assigned by the VP S&Q and Safety Manager.

Policies and Procedures

• Ensure Safety & Quality Assurance complies with flynas policies and processes, practices, and systems, and maintain flynas high standard of work and work ethic.

Reporting and document control

• Perform any other assignment from the line Manager or his designee.


• Assist and coaching team members in performing their duties.


• Provide quarterly/ monthly/ weekly reports or as per the line manager request on all transaction commenced on concerned period.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge and Experience

• ‎4-‎6 years of experience


• Professionally qualified/certified in the field of flight operations

Education
and Certifications

• Bachelor's degree


• Any other certificate related to aviation safety.

Job related Skills

• Must be able to work independently with a diverse and multicultural team


• PC Literate and well versed in MS Office Suite / Google office applications


• Effective written and verbal communication skills in English, Arabic would be an advantage.
