Responsibilities
* Organises education programs linked to exhibitions with the Curatorial department.
* Leads or coordinates public education events.
* Coordinates public talks and workshops, gallery guides and school group visits.
* Responsible for coordinating with the Marketing department with regard to all education content.
* Coordinates audience research to support existing programming and for implementing new programming.
* Provides researching support to develop fit-for-purpose programs aligned with aspirations and strategy.
* Works with advisory panels to develop and pilot new programs and written resources.
* Ensures the programs are running according to the plans and timelines in order to achieve it's mission in education.
* Works with the Education Director on enhancing school and university partnerships through outreach to families, teachers, principals and administrators.
* Develops appropriate content and teaching/learning experiences for schools and universities, delivered through various events and symposiums.
* Contacts and invites teaching artists to share their experiences and provide training sessions/programs for targeted audiences to demonstrate how art and culture impacts communities and societies.
* Coordinates the training & development programs specifically designed for families and educators to promote the importance of arts at school and universities and instilling the art culture in the Saudi Society.
* Conducts research and implements tools to evaluate program effectiveness in meeting goals and audience needs.
* Prepares timely and accurate event reports to meet organizational and departmental requirements, policies and standards.
* Contributes to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, policy and processes considering 'international best practice', legislative requirements, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
* Performs any other related duties or assignments as directed.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Art History, or other related field.
* 1 - 3 years of relevant experience.
* Must be familiar with best practices in education in the arts, museums or similar.
* Experienced in curriculum writing, design and implementation.
* Arabic proficiency.
* English proficiency.
