Application Support Technician or IT Support Technician monitor and maintain
the computer systems and networks of an organisation. As an IT technical
support officer, you'll install and configure computer systems, diagnose
hardware and software faults and solve technical and application problems,
either over the phone or in person.
+ Works under general supervision performing advanced technical work
utilizing a wide variety of resources, including computers.
+ May be responsible for all or part of a project.
+ May train and supervise work flow.
