Job Description:
Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Supply Chain Manager to join
our team! This role provides management and direction for all procurement
functions on a large-scale mixed-use project, including purchasing,
expediting, supplier data control, supplier quality. May coordinate with a
Supply Chain Inspector on an assigned phase of a large complex project.
What You'll Be Doing:
* Monitor daily procurement activities through long lead item list / Master Procurement Tracker.
* Preparation of procurement reports
* Guide the contractor, identifying gaps and flaws in the procurement process and planning and to implement resolutions.
* Reporting to Project Controls Manager
What Required Skills You'll Bring:
* Extensive knowledge of procurement tracking application software it's a must
* Ability to monitor the overall manufacturing process from the supply of raw material until the pre-delivery of the goods.
* Experience in Interior Design Fit Out particularly FF&E it's a must.
* Monitors productivity and technical proficiency of assigned procurement personnel.
* Coordinates procurement activities with clients, project management, Contractor Procurement Team, and other departments/divisions within the Company.
* Actively participates in the Quality Improvement Process.
* Assist in establishing and maintaining departmental policies and procedures. Ensures compliance with the Company's business ethics policy and with the Conflict-of-Interest Policy.
* Conducts performance evaluations, takes corrective action, as necessary. Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Education experience
Bachelor 's degree in business administration or economics (or related field)
and typically 10+ years of related work experience, including some experience
in a lead capacity.
