Role Summary: Qureos is helping a partner firm hire a Utility Supervisor
on an urgent basis. The person will lead the utility team, drive the operation
& maintenance of utilities, and build a structured development program. They
will also supervise maintenance & operation of utility activities and develop
continuous improvement initiatives to reduce utilities consumption.
Qualification Summary: The ideal candidate has a strong expertise with
hands-on experience in Maintenance and Operations of Utilities, including
Chillers, Boilers, Compressors, Water Treatment Plants, Power Generation, and
Distribution Set up.
Responsibilities:
* Develop a preventive maintenance plan to optimize equipment reliability, Responsible for timely and efficient implementation of the plan and undertakes any amendment to the plan if necessary with the right communication to relevant parties and ensure ‎100% timely application of FS PM
* Participate effectively in blackout shutdown activities with impacted areas to apply utilities pm and share it with the planning team to avoid any unplanned shutdowns and production interruption
* Implement SOPs& OPLs for all utilities maintenance
* Supervising the maintenance activities and utility team within the area of responsibility
* Monitor utilities SPs availability with respect to the PM plan and to avoid any disturbance in utilities & plant operation
* Daily monitoring of expenditures against the set budget
* Troubleshooting & why why analysis for utilities BD with an action plan to eliminate it
* Daily, weekly, monthly & yearly monitoring for PM execution against the plan
* Ensure that GMP's principles are conducted through all maintenance tasks or areas.
* Review, evaluate, accept, and coordinate the completion of work bids from contractors.
* Optimize the maintenance cost through best practices & CI initiatives
* Co-operate effectively with other departments in order to plan and run timely maintenance and preventive repairs of equipment including weekly shutdown review meetings with the planning team and risk assessment meetings.
* Coordinates activities by scheduling work assignments, setting priorities, and directing the work of subordinate employees.
* HACCP implementation ensuring that all CCP points are correctly implemented and corrective action is taken in case of deviation; this will be monitored by a weekly report measuring % of correct reporting, % of uncompleted or wrong reporting, and corrective action indicating an area of responsibilities
* Participate in the daily, monthly utilities performance meeting to evaluate different utilities performance with an action plan to correct the area of shortage
* Daily monitoring for utilities KPIs ( KWH / TON , M3/TON )
* Daily tour to check any abnormity or risk with actions to eliminate it
* Develop continuous improvement initiatives to reduce utilities consumption
* Implement SOP & OPL for all utilities operations
* Ensure delivery of utilities with the right quality standard with immediate corrective action to fix any shortage
* Analyze quality audit reports and take relevant actions with a sense of urgency
* Leading, training and motivating junior team members.
* To take part in an operational excellence program with implemented ideas to achieve world-class manufacturing through productivity, people engagement, working environment, Growth, and Quality ideas.
* Ensure compliance with all applicable environmental and safety regulations during the performance of plant maintenance & operation activities.
* Improve safety standards in all main utilities area with respect to plant safety target
* Implement all elements of the WISE roadmap and build a zero-risk operating environment
* Create, analyze safety/incident reports and take relevant actions with a sense of urgency
* Respect, maintain, and follow GMP, Personal hygiene, Housekeeping, Equipment cleaning, Floor cleaning, Zoning, 5S are respected and maintained on a daily basis.
* Adhere to all Food Safety system standards
