Job Description
* Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation
* Running regular checks on network and data security
* Handle business-critical IT tasks and systems administration
* Research and evaluate emerging technologies, hardware, and software
* Track and maintain hardware and software inventory
* Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems
* Conducting regular system audits
* Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff
* Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations and outages
* Providing direction for IT team members
* Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement
* Developing new network troubleshooting strategies to help reduce downtime and decrease maintenance costs
* Creating rational strategies for upgrading the company's network software whenever a new update is available
* Constructing and implementing plans to ensure the company's network continues to operate smoothly in the event of a problem
* Working closely with other department Managers to assess the growth needs and maintenance of the company's network
Qualifications
* Bachelor degree required ( IT, IS or related field )
* Minimum 8 years of eperience
