- Designing and developing new products from the concept stage (using sheet
metal, plastics and other materials).
- Create 3D CAD models and create detailed drawings with SOLIDWORKS and
AutoCAD
- Coordination of prototyping, performance and quality checks, tooling
quotation, partial cost quotation, sourcing, production trials, approval of
final components and assemblies
- Liaise with appropriate departments including Quality, Procurement,
Production, Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering and Tooling Engineering
- Create and update Bill of Materials (Bill of Materials) to manage approval
documents in our systems according to internal procedures.
- Prepare and manage project management, progress tracking, timing plans,
risk assessments, and project status reporting
