NAVAL SKILLS TRAINING (NST) INSTRUCTOR - ELECTRICIAN'S MATE

Location: Dhahran, Saudi Arabia
JOB PURPOSE
BAE Systems is the UK Government's nominated Prime Contractor under the
Government-to-Government arrangements that are in place to provide equipment,
support and training to Saudi Arabia. We provide maintenance of Royal Naval
Forces ships and train RSNF personnel safely in a training environment in how
to use their ships and equipment.
The post holder will be responsible for delivering Naval Specialist Training
(NST) at the Technical Institute for Naval Studies (TINS). Specifically, the
post holder will be responsible for delivery of common content for all NST
streams and Electricians Mate (EM) stream specific content.
JOB ACCOUNTABILITIES
The post holder is responsible for:
Delivering Naval Specialty Training curriculum (including relevant elements of
Basic Skills Training), and, in particular, Electricians Mate specific
elements.
Supporting invigilation activities for assessments.
Supporting remedial training activities.
Writing assessment materials.
Supporting the continuous improvement of courseware materials and media,
writing cadet reports as required to meet customer requirements.
The post holder will be expected to operate to a standard of absolute
integrity and professionalism.
The post holder will ensure the completion of any other reasonable request by
their line manager, which aligns with Company business.

the NST Senior Instructor which aligns with Company business.
RECRUITMENT SPECIFICATION
Essential
The post holder must:
Have a minimum of IELTS ‎5.0 for non-native English language speakers.
Be a graduate of an advanced military trade school or an industry equivalent.
Have proven experience performing the role of Electricians Mate.
Have completed FACET Train the Trainer Course.
Desirable
The post holder should:
Have recent instructional experience.
Have successfully completed an approved / accredited Instructional Techniques
course.
