Job Description
HEALTH & SAFETY SENIOR MANAGER
Purpose
Manages Health and Safety function of the region ensuring that HESA management
system is implemented as defined by Company requirements, procedures and
applicable legal regulation in all sites
Main Responsibilities
Liaises closely with the Company Corporate HESA team to define and provide a
comprehensive and coherent application of the management system.
Monitors and controls the systematic identification, assessment and control of
hazards and risks.
Ensures the implementation of the Company HESA procedures, ensuring these are
properly issued and updated, and prepares periodical reports.
Participates in the preparation of needed actions to ensure compliance with
applicable legal requirements. Defines required investments according to
improvement plans and legal requirements.
Coordinates and prepares annual HESA action plan
Monitors the development of proper HESA training.
Defines control and participates in the company HESA audit program.
Supports and assists Clients and other interested parties, analyzing their
requirements and implementing changes, if needed.
Issues reports showing statistics, trends, action plans, and proposes
corrective actions if needed.
Follows up the proper use of company IT tools to ensure its application and
keeps the regional website updated following corporate directives.
Coordinates and developes, with communication area, of the proper campaigns
and external/internal communications. Share activities with community.
Sets up, carries out and monitors the budget of the area.
Coordinates and implements HESA committees and meetings. nes corrective
actions if needed.
Complies with Tenaris policies, procedures and management standards, and
ensures adherence with all laws and regulations that apply to the area of
responsibility.
Proactively motivates, coaches, communicates with and develops his/her staff
and manages HR related activities in line with Human Resources norms and
procedures. Protects from damage, theft or misuse the facilities, equipment
and other physical resources assigned to his/her area.
