The Job Opportunity
Serco Middle East is looking to hire Senior HSEQ Professionals in the Kingdom
of Saudi Arabia. KSA is a key focus for Serco Middle East and our goals are

The Health & Safety Senior Manager will develop the project's Health & Safety
Management Plan. Lead and manage the Health & Safety Management Team through
advising, directing Health & Safety concerns and implementing Health & Safety
compliance monitoring systems and processes in compliance with the Health &
Safety Construction Plan, local and international standards for achieving
First Quartile Health & Safety performance.

The hiring for this position is subject to contract award.

Key accountabilities
The Health & Safety Senior Manager will primarily be responsible for the
oversight of the implementation of the Contractors’ Health & Safety
Construction Plan. Evaluate the effectiveness of Health & Safety Organization
and ensure qualified Health & Safety managers and candidates are available by
Contractors. Approve Contractor Health & Safety construction Plan, Health &
Safety Audit Plan, and special procedures for critical tasks. Approve the
contractor health & safety professionals. Overview of the Health & Safety
audit plan. Establish proactive innovative programs for Health & Safety that
helps in the part of Incident Prevention. Ensure Health & Safety programs are
developed and implemented by contractors such as emergency evacuation drills,
office safety, incident reporting and all other Health & Safety requirement
applicable to the projects.

What we are looking for in our candidates:
We are looking for an individual who has solid leadership skills and has
experience in developing Safety training and compliance programs, including
the ability to conduct and facilitate training as required. Experience
preparing required Health & Safety reports and demonstrated record driving
safety performance improvements. Has the Ability to apply principles of
measurement and analysis to evaluate Health & Safety performance. Possesses
good presentation skills and be able to market the benefits of quality to all
stakeholders. Knowledge of Incident Investigation and Root Cause Analysis
techniques. Knowledge of loss control, risk management principles and job
hazard analysis.

Specific requirements
‎5 to ‎10 years of experience in Health & Safety Management.
Degree / Diploma qualified in an engineering subject.
Health & Safety Management qualification.
Health & Safety Management Trainer qualification.
Able to apply Quality tools and techniques.
Good knowledge of project quality management systems.
Good knowledge of ISO ‎45001-‎2018 Standard.
