Job Description Summary

The Early Career Training is a ‎12 months program and it is an investment in
young talents where GE trains the trainees who meet the required criteria to
develop their skills and provide on the job knowledge and technical
experience. The traineeship duration varies upon business requirement and
performance of the trainees. This Position requires understanding of concepts,
methods and procedures in Finance & Accounting.

ECT trainee will support GEMTEC service center manager and finance manager to
provide financial visibility for key performance indicators (KPIs). In this
role, the trainee will act as a business partner with multiple stakeholders
including the shop operations, logistic and regions leadership in driving
financial transparency, standardization, simplification, productivity, and
operational excellence.

Job Description

Essential Responsibilities:
* Perform repairs jobs cost reviews, corrective job cost transfer, billing and unbilled shipments and aging analysis & ensure timely and accuracy of billed jobs (Sales & CM report, inventory report & SARA)
* Perform applied & unapplied hours reconciliation, reporting, and analysis across multiple systems (Kronos, SAP and Tableau) and lead automation initiatives with operation & IT teams
* Support MF in budgeting & forecast preparation (Hours, Sales, COGS, Cost and inventory)
* Partner with customs team to ensure timely payment of customs duties of jobs
* Lead and drive High value & work in process inventory stock control, aging analysis, annual physical count and make needed corrective adjustments
* Lead and drive P&E/Assets annual physical count organization
* Support MF & other team members in internal control assessment and process optimization and lead and participate in projects to drive leaner & smoother processes within finance
* Partner with finance peers, Sourcing/wharehouse and IBS teams to analyze GRNI aging over ‎180 and take necessary action
* Partner with MFs, finance peers & tax team in providing auditors requests to complete financial statements, TP & Tax audits
* Collaborate with other finance peers to manage bank relationship & handling all Bank related activities (BG, Cheques & providing financials to the Bank)
* Raise Mypayment workflow for each non-PO payments and follow-up on approvals (customs, utilities, phone bills & visa)
* Analyze monthly ledger, cross charge cost to other businesses and book/reverse accrual/Prepaid to avoid cost duplication & support other finance peers in performing monthly closing activities to ensure completion within LCD+‎1
* Support the finance manager and accounts reconciler by providing required backups.
* Support GESAT JV finance manager on Ad hoc requests
* Ad hoc reporting or analysis requirements.
Qualifications/Requirements:
* Bachelor 's Degree in Finance or Accounting with maximum ‎2 years of experience.
* Clear thinking/Problem Solving, able to quickly grasp new ideas.
* Strong team work skills.
* Strong oral and written communication skills (Fluent in English & Arabic).
* Good time & stress management skills.
* Flexible to working hours.
* Knowledge of Hyperion, Oracle and SAP is plus.
