Surveyor
ABS Europe is seeking a Marine Surveyor to be based in Dammam Port in Saudi
Arabia. The main activities in Saudi are surveying vessels and equipment such
as OSV and AHTS, barges as well as offshore such as Jack-up's and lift boats.
What you will do:
* With the assistance and guidance of an experienced ABS Surveyor:
* Acts as a professional specialist for the organization in the application of related rules, regulations, requirements, concepts, principles and processes.
* Performs routine surveys on classed vessels, platforms or other marine structures and at manufacturers for classification and compliance with statutory requirements.
* Prepares technically accurate and timely reports of inspections and surveys performed.
* Engages in contact with clients to resolve problems within area of expertise.
* Maintains survey files in an orderly and up-to-date manner in area of responsibility.
Qualifications
What You will Need:
* Citizenship in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia
* Degree or equivalent from an institution recognized within a relevant field of engineering or physical science
* Qualifications from a suitable marine or nautical institution
* Significant and advanced practical industry experience related to area of specialization and ability to effectively apply classification principles.
* proficiency in the English language commensurate with their future work.
