Your Impact:
Jacobs is delivering engineering and construction management services on a
major port project in Dammam. This project includes construction of new
terminal buildings, construction of berth, repair and renovation of existing
berths, levelling and ground improvement, pavements, ducts and pits for buried
services, revetments, quay deck and yard pavement repair, buildings renovation
etc.
Job Responsibilities:
* Monitoring contractor's progress and reporting to Resident Engineer
* Anticipation and warning on issues which may impact on targeted time or cost outcomes
* Review the contractor's monthly payment applications and report with recommendations to RE.
* Measurement of the works for the purpose of payment
* Evaluation of claims and variations, Preparation of payment certificates, Monitoring of work and financial progress against the approved construction programme
* Evaluation of the cost and time impacts of changes and variations
* Assistance in preparation of daily, weekly and monthly progress reports
Here 's What You'll Need:
*
Previous experience as a Quantity Surveyor for complex projects within the
last 10 years, ideally in the Middle East region.
* Minimum Degree qualified.
* Relevant post-contract site supervision experience in the Middle East (infrastructure experience preferable)
* Excellent communication and report writing skills, and good presentation skills in English.
* Written and spoken Arabic skills are beneficial but not essential.
