Position Overview

Based in Saudi Arabia, we are currently seeking a:

Production Manager
( Dammam, Saudi Arabia )

Reporting to the CEO and in dotted line to the Regional Operations Director,
the successful candidate should lead the brownfield project at Dammam site for
the timely commercial start-up.
Once the project phase is over, the production manager will lead the
production process by coaching his/her team and by implementing efficient
Manufacturing process. The person will be responsible for achieving
Operational KPIs across Quality, Safety, Cost, People & Environment.

Key Accountabilities

Projects & Engineering
* Basic understanding of Project management
* Understanding of functioning of Wetline ( Cooking / Operations/ Cooling) process
* Understanding of utilities (HVAC , Boiler , Cooling Tower , Air Compressor etc)
* Understanding of AutoCAD will be an added advantage
* Ensure timely commercialization of Brownfield projects with support from cross-functional team

People Coaching
* Selection, recruitment, induction and onboarding of new employees
* Develop your people to establish a high-performance organization
* Ensuring an ongoing learning and development plan for all employees
* People performance management
* Taking the lead and the organization of respective shifts
* Instilling Puratos Magic throughout the whole organization
* to get all required certificates and ensure we comply with the required standard.

HSE
* Ensure HSE legal compliance
* Ensure safety of all employee in line with standard operating procedures
* Drive behavior-based safety program
* Risks assessments are in place and in line with local legislation
* Effective control of contractors and visitors in place
* Full safety induction for all newcomers
* Ensure full investigation and follow up of incidents ad hazardous situations
* Ensure effective loss and waste process

Costs
* Effective budget control of the department
* Ensure that all functional meetings are taking place periodically
* Participate in Drive Project and benchmarking initiatives
* Constantly reduce inefficiencies and not added value activities

Quality
* Implementation and maintenance of HACCP, Halal & quality certification standards and 5S
* Work toward achieving GFSI certification
* Maintaining a clean and hygienic work environment
* Work closely with cross-functional team to reduce external customer complaints
* Master manufacturing processes (at source) to deliver Right First-Time performance
* Ensure suitable problem-solving tools are used to complete CAPA's

Job Requirement
* Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Food/Dairy Technology) with experience in Food Industry.
* Minimum of ‎10 years experience in the food industry in shopfloor management and Project.
* Experience of managing Operational KPIs
* Knowledge of World Class Manufacturing and 5S methodology.
* Knowledge of complex production processes.
* Hands on experience in Safety management & Quality Certifications
* Strong Management skills.
