Job Description

Are you a motivated and passionate Mechanical Engineer and want to be part of

new Mechanical Engineer in Danfoss Power Electronics and Drives, water, and
wastewater business.

optimizing mechanical systems and components for our future products.

Job Responsibilities

As a new team member, you will become part of a collaborative and knowledge-
sharing environment, where you will be responsible of providing technical
guidance to junior engineers together with your colleagues. You will
contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, processes,
and tools, driving efficiency and innovation.

You will have to design and develop innovative mechanical products, systems
and components that meet and exceed customer expectations and cost targets.

• Utilize CAD software to create detailed technical drawings and models, ensuring precision and manufacturability.


• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, supply chain, and product managers, to translate customer needs into actionable engineering solutions.


• Embrace an agile development approach, actively participating in regular team meetings, sprints, and iterative design processes, ensuring efficient collaboration and timely project delivery.


• Conduct thorough analysis and simulations to evaluate the performance, reliability, and safety of mechanical systems, implementing necessary improvements and optimizations.


• Stay at the forefront of emerging technologies and industry trends, continuously exploring and integrating new advancements into our product development processes.

Background & Skills

You have a passion for developing products, all the way from an idea to a
final product, that will be produced in our factory. You can work
independently and at the same time collaborate with stakeholders across the
organization. You are a team player with a positive and innovative attitude.
You define your self as robust and remains focused when facing technical
challenges. Finally, you have the ability to manage multiple projects and meet
deadlines effectively.

Furthermore.

• Bachelor's and/or master's degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.


• Proven track record of ‎5-‎8 years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on product development.


• Proficiency in CAD software, such as Creo or NX, and other engineering tools.


• Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.


• Experience with simulation and analysis software.


• Familiarity with agile development methodologies and experience working in cross-functional teams.
