Job Description
The Treasurer from GM Egypt will be responsible for executing various
corporate treasury functions, including but not limited to capital planning,
liquidity and cash management, capital markets activity, relationship
management with banks. The role requires strong financial analysis and problem
solving skills, the ability to optimize a range of inputs and scenarios to
support effective decision-making, and the capacity to create strong
partnerships with a broad range of functions throughout the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage Working Capital, Cash Flows and liquidity planning, and drive decisions on dividend repatriation
Maintain robust banking relationships
Manage Foreign currency exposure and availability
Manage financial relations with international suppliers
Negotiate credit facilities and/or cash investments with banks
Develop recommendation for the credit terms/ structure set-up for GM Egypt sole distributor & suppliers for approvals (GM DOA)
Ensure execution accordingly
Develop recommendation for the credit terms/ structure set-up for North Africa distributors for approvals (GM DOA)
Ensure execution accordingly
- Manage Insurance policies and handling claims (All risk- Marine and Auto)

Requirements:
Experience/ Education:
1.Accounting / Finance degree.
2. MBA / CPA/ CMA / CFA is a plus.
3. Minimum 7 to 10 years of experience in Treasury/ Banking fields
Knowledge:
1.Very Good knowledge in Treasury and Accounting
2. Strong business knowledge
3. Strategic planning
Skills:
1.Excellent English and Arabic, both spoken and written
2. Excellent computer skills
3. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
4. Excellent negotiation skills
5. Excellent analytical, reasoning and problem-solving skill
