Job Description
Core Mission
The distributor head is responsible for representing Galderma and driving
business through distributors for markets outside UAE and KSA such as Kuwait,
Qatar, Oman, Bahrain, Lebanon Egypt etc.
He/she is P&L responsible for Distributor markets reporting into the Head of
EECIS. Taking responsibility for revenue, and quality targets towards the
achievement of maximum profitability, growth, market share and in line with
company vision, values and compliance standards.
Duties & Responsibilities
The distributor head is responsible for representing Galderma and driving
business through distributors for markets outside UAE & Saudi Arabia.
He/she is P&L, Sales responsible of Distributor markets reporting into GM
EECIS
Responsible to take ownership and support GM with growth plans, market
penetration and working on future potential scenarios.
Full accountability to review distributor contracts, revise as necessary to
ensure compliance, control, growth, and full transparency to Galderma.
Establish and maintain strong and firm relationships with existing channel
partners, distributors, ensure close monitoring and responsible for compliant
practices aligned with Galderma global approach.
Critically examine policies, programs, procedures, processes, systems,
products, or services, investigating complaints and bringing Improvement or
change where necessary with Compliance mindset.
Monitor and evaluate execution of business plan to meet sales goals.
Lead the implementation of the premium brand within the countries and is
responsible for the development of the international dermatology strategy
within the organization.
Agreeing on annual budgets and producing a detailed annual business operating
plan, deliver as well as monthly, quarterly, or annual targets for revenue and
profits
Meet financial targets P&L for the company and to ensure company value growth.
Working closely with the distributors to drive company growth and manage
negotiations and improved relations with government authorities
Develop annual business plans and monitor through quarterly reviews
Manage key customer relationships and actively develop new business
opportunities
Performs other related duties and responsibilities as directed by manager.
Ensure the highest standards of safety, quality, and operational excellence.
Ensure day-to-day operations maintain a continued alignment with overall
corporate policy, strategy, and direction.
Technical Competencies:
Education/Training:
University degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences and Business Management or any
equivalent degree
Work Experience:
Experience in the Pharmaceutical & Consumer Industry (Aesthetics an asset)
Should have at least ‎8-‎10+ years of Pharmaceuticals/FMCG/CH distributor
management experience.
Skills:
Should be effective in Managing, Planning, co-coordinating and objective
setting.
Must have an entrepreneurial mindset.
Good interpersonal and communication skills.
Proven track record.
Strong understanding of how a multinational business operates and have a
proven track record demonstrating their understanding and business acumen.
Strong management experience is essential for working in this job.
Have excellent networking skills.
To be able to deliver the highest standards of customer service.
The ability to recruit staff and monitor performance.
Must be familiar with computer software programs eg Word, Excel etc.
Language:
English excellent (spoken & written).
Arabic is an asset
