Responsible for supporting the Conversion Optimization Manager and e-Commerce
Business Analyst in understanding business needs and problems with reference
to web site or mobile functionality with a view to improving online conversion
and retention rates

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Activities

‎1. Leading interaction with multiple business units to shape web site
requirements. Work with the e-Commerce team to identify design elements and
document requirements.
‎2. SME for Business, Support and Build Teams on all flydubai corporate web
and mobile sites.
‎3. Work with other members of the e-Commerce team to identify opportunities
in the context of requirements and recommend solutions that enable solutions.
The role will focus on gathering requirements, writing change request
documentation, documenting and conducting user-acceptance testing and product
demonstrations
‎4. Coordinating with internal stakeholders and business units to research,
analyze and develop business requirements and specifications for web site
enhancements.
‎5. Preparing process mapping, analysis and issue resolution as well as
detailed user acceptance test cases as part of the SDLC.
‎6. Planning system taxonomy using use case and business rules analysis and
developing testing scripts with business stakeholders.
‎7. Analyzing the wireframes, visual designs and HTMLs deliveries against
approved functional specifications for gaps and communicating these to the Web
Project Manager (IT) for inclusion in the issue register.
‎8. Ensure all technical documentation and unit testing scenarios provided by
vendors is mapped to and meets business requirements.
‎9. Identify weaknesses in current functionality and creating solutions that
better serve the customer.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE/ KNOWLEDGE / SKILLS

Minimum Qualification

* A university degree in business or technology
* Excellent verbal and written skills in English

Experience

* ‎2 years of experience in airline/ aviation e-commerce projects in a functional solution design or analysis role.
* Experience in one major ecommerce implementation project
* Clear understanding and demonstrable experience on a variety of web development/design and business intelligence tools
* Managing requirements gathering, chairing project initiation workshops, issue reporting and distribution of project artifacts to external stakeholders

Knowledge / Skills
* Familiarity with one or more of web technologies.
* Proficient in Microsoft Visio ‎2010
* Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
* Proven skill in facilitating workshops using brainstorming, mind mapping or similar techniques.
* Knowledge of IT and airline industry practices, processes, standards etc.

ISR Requirements
Reads and complies with the ISR policies of the Company and diligently
reports any weakness or incidents to the respective Line Manager or the
Information Security team. Completes all required ISR awareness sessions and
follows associated guidelines in the day to day business operations.
