Overview of the role:
Carryout installation, operation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of
pipes, fittings, fixtures, of plumbing installations (Hot water, cold water
system, drainage system

What you will do:
Key Accountability ‎1: Maintenance Services.
Responsible for :
* Efficiently and effectively carryout corrective and preventive maintenance services of Domestic water system, Irrigation system, water tanks, various pumping system (booster, sump pump), and sanitary fixtures in accordance with defined service standards.

Key Accountability ‎2: Customer Service
Responsible for :
* Contribute to the development of a customer focused service and a positive corporate image, including the maintenance of good working relationship with colleagues and client by maintaining open lines of communication on all matters raised and attending to urgent matters as they arise.

Key Accountability ‎3: QHSE.
Responsible for :
* Contribute to safe systems of work and the development of quality management system by ensuring all work practices comply with relevant safety standard.
* Ensure that measures to protect personal safety and well-being are always in place and that personal actions do not jeopardize the safety and well-being of others
* Adhere strictly to all Safe Operating Procedures, and Safe Work Instructions - thus preventing potential incidents at all times.
* Always comply with HSE policy

Key Accountability ‎4: Equipment 's, Tools & Tackles, Return of
materials.
Responsible for :
* Maintain company's equipment's, tools and tackles used for maintenance related works and return the same
* Returning all defective, unused materials, spare parts to store

Key Accountability ‎5: Behavioural and discipline.
Responsible for :
* Punctuality, time management and proper communication with supervisor, team and customers
* Compliance to company policies and procedures

Job Context:
* Al Futtaim Engineering is a multi-disciplinary engineering company in the UAE, Qatar and lower Gulf Region. Facilities Management division is specialized in providing the facilities maintenance to its customers.

Required skills to be successful:
Job-specific skills:
* Review building plans and specifications to determine the layout for plumbing and related materials
* Ability to identify and understand the functions of sanitary fixtures, domestic water pumps, booster pumps, irrigation pumps, water tanks, sump pump, related piping system and its mountings and accessories, controls
* Identify required tools and special equipment
* Ensure all requirements as specified by manufacturer of system, fixtures are met
* Assess material and equipment needs, to establish the sequence of pipe installations, and to plan installation around obstructions such as electrical wiring.
* Select the type and size of pipe required, Install supports and hangers for pipe, fixtures and equipment
* Assemble and install valves and fittings
* Install, repair and maintain underground storm sanitary and water piping systems
* Install, repair and maintain sinks, tubs and toilets
* Install, repair and maintain water heaters
* Install, repair and maintain plumbing fixtures, appliances and trim
* Test pipe systems and fixtures for leaks
* Ensure all codes, standards (DM standards) are met in all installation, cleaning works
* Carryout corrective, planned preventive maintenance works using computer aided facility management (CAFM),Mobility

What equips you for the role:
Minimum Qualifications and Knowledge:
* Basic English Level ‎3 (Read & Write)
* High School Certificate
* Vocational Technical Certificate (min. ‎6 months) / ITI
* Knowledge in water distribution and waste water distribution in residential, commercial, industrial buildings
* Relevant building codes, legislations, regulations, policies and procedures installation and maintenance
* Basic knowledge of Health and Safety requirements

Minimum Experience:
* ‎2 years of experience as Plumber
* ‎2 years of experience in GCC
