Wealth and Personal Banking is our new global business combining Retail
Banking and Wealth Management; and Global Private Banking, to become one of
the world's largest global wealth managers with USD1.‎4 trillion in assets. Our
dedicated colleagues serve millions of customers worldwide across the entire
spectrum of private wealth, ranging from personal banking for individuals and
families, through to business owners, investors and ultra-high-net-worth
individuals. We provide products and services such as bank accounts, credit
cards, personal loans and mortgages, as well as asset management, insurance,
wealth management and private banking, that best suit our customers' needs.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Wealth and
Personal Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and
achieve divisional business targets.
In this role, you will:
This role forms an integral part of the overall sales coverage model for MENA
(AMG) Wholesale Business focused on developing the GPB&W relationship. The
role will encompass responsibility of building stronger relationships and
growing assets under management from the GPB&W client segment across the MENA
region. This role requires strong knowledge of retail banking wealth
distribution, relationship management, asset management and knowledge of HSBC
AM solutions.
* Managing existing Internal Wholesale delivering growth in assets under management, Net New Money, Net New Revenues, increase share of wallet
* Minimise outflows with string client servicing and RM training and education
* Own lead & execute the local action plan for Internal Wholesale
* Responsible for client planning and developing and implementing key initiatives to drive AM advocacy and support AUM growth
* Development of all AMG relevant sales platforms (HGIF, HWSP, Islamic)
* Maintain high quality CRM usage; sales pipeline, activity, campaigns, static data
* Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in GPB&W - relationship managers, sales managers, product & training teams
* Build strong internal relationships with Client Propositions, Client Service and AM business
* Ensure a positive experience of HSBC AM
* Enhance collaboration and strengthen synergies with GPB&W
* Demonstrate strong product knowledge with strength of sharing knowledge within team environment
* Strong adaptable attitude and willingness to help and develop other team members
* Efficient prioritisation of workload while supporting wider team where necessary
* Actively support the MENA team in achieving objectives
* Role is predominantly focused on MENA Wholesale Business Group Distribution Development(GPB&W) whilst maintaining awareness and support of broader MENA business
* Positive impact on AMG Wholesale asset under management for solutions aligned to strategic growth plan
* Deliver strategic goals within short deadlines
* Demonstrate leadership qualities within team engagement of support functions
* Being able to ensure supporting functions are able to meet client's expectations
Requirements
To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:
Knowledge / Experience
* Bachelor's degree is must to obtain visa in UAE
* Experience in client facing or client support role within asset management or wealth management
* Good understanding of investment products, capabilities and operations
* Excellent people and communication skills, both spoken and written
* Team player able to develop relationships at multiple levels
* Strong attention to detail and deadlines
