SENIOR ACCOUNTANT

(This position is open to applicants within commuting distance of
Albuquerque, NM.)
Job Description
IronEdge Group's Senior Accountant is an integral member of the Finance team
reporting to the Controller. This role will be involved in all aspects of
accounting. You will be responsible for month-end close deliverables including
journal entries, reconciliations, and proper accounting in accordance with
GAAP.
The Senior Accountant is responsible for producing and reviewing consolidated
financial statements for completeness, accuracy, and compliance, report
preparation required by regulatory agencies, banks, investors, and other
external parties, and performing technical accounting research such as
purchase price accounting. The Senior Accountant will work closely with the
Controller to implement ASC ‎606 and ASC ‎842 for all entities and new entities
as required. You will provide support with the filing of tax returns, assist
with vendor management, AP, AR, and payroll functions. As a key contributor to
the Finance team, you will implement and suggest opportunities for process
improvement, bring new entities online to existing systems, develop and
automate consolidation reports, customer analysis reports, and other reporting
packages as needed.
Requirements
* BS degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Not required
* ‎3+ years of overall general accounting experience or similar experience.
* Thorough knowledge of basic accounting procedures and principles.

• A high level of initiative and drive, natural sense of ownership for projects and duties.


• Strong analytical skills and logical thought processes, with the ability to identify and resolve issues.


• Ability to organize, schedule and prioritize departmental and individual work to meet various schedules and objectives.


• Sage Intacct and AP system (Divvy, Ramp, Concur, etc.) experience is preferred, but not required.

Salary Range

$‎70,000 - $‎80,000
