We are looking for a proactive, teamoriented Operations Associate.
Who we are looking for
* Point of contact for client enquires related to posttrading support, carbon onboarding, assets management, accounts management (Client Servicing)
* Monitoring of Exchange operations: transactions blotters monitoring and issues management; the processing of other trades (OTC transactions)
* Fiat currency asset management
* Carbon onboarding and asset management
* Reconciliations (fiat and carbon credits)
* Reporting (internal and external)
* Accounts administration and change management.
* Change delivery and participation in local and global projects
* Any other duties/projects that will be assigned from time to time
Qualifications & Experience
* BA, BS, or B.Com degree required (Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Economics)
* 25 years of relevant working experience
* Prior experience with either Exchange or Commodity operations or Clearing & Custody operations is required
* Knowledge of financial markets and products
* A Passion for protecting our environment and preserving our planet is a must!
* Proficiency in MS Office; especially with advanced MS Excel skills
* Strong analytical and data gathering skills
* Excellent communications skills
* Selfmotivated and excellent team player
* Organized, detailoriented with the ability to multitask and prioritize given tight deadlines
* Must have a "cando" attitude and be an excellent team player
* Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written
* Based in Abu Dhabi or UAE willing to relocate to Abu Dhabi
* Prior UAE experience is an advantage but not essential
* Immediately available is an advantage
