The Job Opportunity
The Security Manager will support the Contract Manager in the development of
The Galleria's security plans, manage subcontractors to ensure the overall
security strategy and targets are always achieved in a professional and pro-
active way. Demonstrate Health and Safety expertise and knowledge to achieve
internal and external KPIs .
Key Accountabilities
Manage internal and external KPI’s that are in line with the overall security
strategy and plans.
Conduct Security Risk assessments, Health and Safety inspections and update
the risk registry to ensure it fully reflects the latest risks at all times.
Manage the day-to-day Security and Health and Safety of The Galleria to ensure
a pro-active security/health and safety risk-based approach is always
maintained by all Serco staff and its 3rd party subcontractors.
What we are looking for in our candidates:
Ability to understand complex systems.
A mature, proactive and responsible approach to work with initiative and
problem-solving capability.
Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, and the ability to handle
multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks
efficiently and work productively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Specific requirements
Ideally a degree or diploma holder in a Security or Risk Management related
discipline.
ASIS, CPP, PSP certificate or equivalent.
NEBOSH certificate or diploma in occupational health and safety.
OSHAD approved practitioner.
Approximately 10+ years of general security or risk management industry
experience
5 years of specific security operations and management experience within the
UAE.
