Hiring a Junior Accountant for Abu Dhabi.
Key Responsibilities:
* Posts and processes journal entries to ensure all business transactions are recorded.
* Updates accounts payable and performs reconciliations.
* Updates accounts receivable and issues/processes invoices.
* Assists in the processing of balance sheets, income statements and other financial statements.
* Keeps the financial data in databases up to date to ensure that information will be accurate and available immediately when needed.
* Assists with reviewing of expenses, payroll records, and any other tasks to be assigned by the Chief Accountant.
* Supports senior accountants in the preparation of monthly/yearly closings and external/ internal auditing.
Key Requirements:
* Bachelor's degree in accounting or any related field
* Must have at least two years of work experience as Junior Accountant.
* Good understanding of accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
* Has excellent knowledge of MS Offices (especially Excel) and familiar with relevant accounting software.
* Has outstanding organizing abilities and great attention to details.
* Must be a high-flier over teamwork and fluent in English communication.
