We have an opportunity for an enthusiastic Account Receivable Supervisor to
join our Finance team at Shangri-La & Traders family. The selected candidate
will have minimum ‎1-‎2 years of experience in the same role. The ability to
organize, prioritize and multitask effectively.

Handle all guests' billing issues and disputes.
Prepare account billing with required supporting documentation.
Monitor customer account details for non-payments and delayed payments.
Reconcile accounts and communicates with customers.
Previous experience in luxury hospitality/customer service.

What will you do?

Responsible for making sure that all guest billings are done correctly and
efficiently. In addition, to effect collections so that accounts outstanding
are at a minimum and cash flow at a maximum.
Prepare timely and accurate preparations of all accounts receivable.
Supervise the accounts receivable personnel to ensure accuracy and
completeness of work.
Respond promptly to all guest and management inquiries regarding City Ledger
accounts.
Supervise the preparation of the monthly accounts receivable aging analysis.
Assist the Credit Manager regarding all matters relating to the granting of
credit and follow up of delinquent accounts.
Ensure all accounts receivable personnel are adequately cross-trained.
Be responsible for the timely mailing of all statements.
Complete special projects assigned by the Assistant financial Controller or
Chief Accountant on a timely and accurate basis.
Direct the activities of the hotel “Bill Collectors”.
Verify the receipt on a daily basis of all accounts receivable settlements.
Undertake all special projects assigned by the Credit Manager.
Obtain authorization from the Department Head concerned to process any rebate
by completing a Rebate Form.
Obtains credit information by company search, professional credit reports, or
bank references.
Prepares documentation for doubtful accounts.
Prepares written-off authorization of uncorrectable accounts.
Enforces credit standards if not being followed.
