Position: Revenue Analyst (Full time #534020)
Property / Office: Emirates Palace, Abu Dhabi
Location: Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates
Main Responsibilities:
* Ensure correct rate loading and communication of new rates and packages to reservations, front office, accounting and other impacted departments
* Perform audits and maintenance on all systems such as PMS, CRS, RMS, and Sales & Catering Systems to ensure content and information is correct.
* Content management on third party sites
* Ensure systems health, checking of interfaces, and resolve errors and discrepancies
* Conduct market research and monitor competitor rates
* Handle Best Rate Promise claims and monitor rates across various channels to ensure rate parity
* Assist in development of forecasts and budgets.
* Work closely with the Reservations & Sales Team in achieving the budget
* Communicate strategies and procedures to other departments as required.
* Participate in weekly revenue management meetings.
* Prepare Revenue Management Report information for all related meetings.
* Monitor and analyze the competition daily / weekly through shop reports and the Internet to identify selling strategies and market trends.
* Assist in preparing short- and long-term forecasts.
* Provide administrative support for the Revenue Management Team.
* Review and analyze reports such as Demand360, STAR, Hotel Intelligence and other measurement tools and present revenue opportunities.
* Be knowledgeable of all special rates and promotions.
* Perform other duties as requested by management.
Skills and Requirements:
* At least 2 years of experience in the same position in luxury property.
* Good communication skills.
* Computer literacy.
* A head for figures and commercial awareness.
* Analytical thinking
