Johnson & Johnson is looking for a Business Compliance Specialist to be
located in New Cairo, Egypt.
Position overview
This position will be responsible for reconciliation and monitoring of all
Health Care Compliance (HCC) related transactions by Johnson & Johnson Middle
East and or Third-Party Intermediaries across ME region for Medtech. In
addition, this position will help the HCC team in any projects as needed.
This position will also be responsible for maintaining and supporting existing
HCC systems such as HCC Life for all J&J and distributor HCC related
activities as well as implementing Management Action Plans related to these
activities.
This position reports to the Business Compliance Manager with dotted line to
HCC Officer
Duties & Responsibilities:
Support business to ensure that the HCC program effectively prevents and/or
detects violations of law, regulations, policies, or the Code of Conduct by:
* Reconciliation of all HCC related activities by Johnson & Johnson Middle East and or Third-Party Intermediaries across Middle East region.
* Follow up with the business requesters to ensure all post event documents are uploaded to HCC Life as required.
* Follow up on the TPIs audit findings and implementation of the related MAP
* Collaborate effectively with relevant business stakeholders (sales, marketing, prof ed, finance, legal)
* Approve all HCC related invoices to enable finance team to process the payments
* Work closely with HCC Officers and update them in case of discrepancies.
* Work closely with internal and external auditors and provide them with the required reports and data required for audit purposes.
* Provide reports and data to monitoring team and assist them whenever required with their queries.
* Ensure the actual spend is in line with the pre-approved amounts
* Check whether the cost charged to J&J is correct
* Follow up with the concerned to obtain credit notes
* Ensure all payment invoices have appropriate information as per audit requirements
* Ensure that there is no duplication of invoices.
* Ensure post event documents are provided as per HCC Checklist.
* In case of discrepancy updating the HCC team and requestors in order to fix the GAP.
* Supporting business with any HCC life related queries on a day to basis.
* Providing HCC life reports to Business, Auditors and monitoring and testing teams.
Additional responsibilities as follows:
* Participate in Compliance meetings as required
* Support the business and compliance team during audits for any compliance matters
* Support compliance team in coordinating various projects and assignments as required.
Qualifications & Experience
* Requires strong communication, organizational and analytical skills with immense attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and in a detailed manner.
* Ability to manage conflicts in an open and constructive manner
* Bachelor's degree required
* Minimum of 2-4 years working experience within the Healthcare Industry.
* Fluency in English and Arabic
* Computer skills in MS Word, PowerPoint & Excel
* Industry related experience preferred: Compliance, Audit, Regulatory Affairs, and Compliance Experience in the Medical Device or Pharmaceutical industries.
