We're looking for a Scrum Master to join the I ES Services Center of
Competence division in Cairo.
Main Responsibilities
* Lead the team's daily activities following different SCRUM events.
* Support and mentor developers within the team (code, design, architectural review & guidance).
* Guide the team to develop functionality within a large Java based tool suite (including making hands on contribution to the code).
* Take technical ownership of key functional areas within the code ensuring a high level of quality, design best practice and maintainability.
* Ensure team follows optimal Software development life cycle and best practices are adhered to.
* Work closely with Customer and Siemens architects to understand customer flows, manage the backlog and elaborate technical requirements & document solutions.
* Work with Architects and Customer to address project issues.
Required skills, knowledge and experience
* B.Sc. in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Computer Science.
* 8+ years of relevant experience.
* Experience of working in a Scrum team, preferably as a Scrum Master/Technical Lead/Team Leader.
* Hands on experience in guiding development teams and projects, working with technical architects to manage requirements capture and development schedules.
* Prior Experience in Java SE 8+, Javascript, Typescript, XML, HTML/CSS, Webservices (SOAP and REST).
* Solid knowledge of data structures, algorithms and Object Oriented Design principles and their application to problem solving, with a background in Java development.
* Experience in automated testing to support the code you have written.
* Ability to travel internationally on occasional basis.
* Familiarity with electrical and harness domains is a plus.
* Highly developed communication skills, including the ability to present ideas and share your knowledge with others.
