Safety Supervisor – Eastern Province, KSA

Role Summary:
The Safety Supervisor will direct and manage compliance with the company
safety programs to ensure safety goals are met and the safety of the teams is
observed.
Priority for Saudi Nationals.
Position Location: On Site; Eastern Province, KSA
Industry: Engineering, Project and Construction Management
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Supervise day-to-day activities on site.
* Ensure that workers make use of necessary protective equipment like helmets, hand gloves, welding shades etc., where and when necessary.
* Investigate accidents and tackle their causes.
* Take note of workers’ safety concerns and immediately acts upon them.
* Arrange training programs on safety measures on site.
* Develop plans for emergency procedures.
* Receive and act upon reports regarding safety concerns from workers within the construction site.
* Serve as a link between workers and top management when it comes to issues that have to do with the safety and proper organization of the site.
* Introduce measures that will help curb accidents.
Education and Experience:
* Bachelor’s Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline.
* Professional certification e.g. NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent.
* Minimum ‎15 years of relevant experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Personality Attributes:
* Experienced in buildings and infrastructure industries.
* Excellent Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) experience on large projects.
* Capable of preparing HSE plans for grassroots refinery projects.
* Experienced in coordinating with international HSE organizations.
* Capable of leading the site risk assessment study and generating the Process Safety Management Program for the project.
* Proactive Team Leader.
* Excellent Communication and Interpersonal skills.
