You will join our team in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia. We are a small but highly
dedicated team with close collaboration with our headquarters, and consider
each other like family.
We are looking for a Finance Manager to permanently join our team. This is a
vital role within the Finance Team and has responsibility for ensuring
compliance within the finance function.
The main responsibility is to ensure the full finance cycle all-inclusive with
support from the local team, group finance, and external advisors, While
working closely with the leadership team to formulate the business's medium to
long-term financial and strategic plan including budgeting and forecasting.
The candidate is expected to participate in the management team with fact-
based analysis and initiate discussions to improve profitability and Provide
insights to senior management around financial modeling, forecasts, and
profitability.
Reporting to the Area Vice President Middle East but working closely with the
Chief Financial Officer and fully dedicated to the Middle East region, the
Finance Manager will predominately be responsible for maintaining and
enhancing the financial management procedures for the business, along with
ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
* Budgeting and follow-up
* Analyzing financial and operational results to better understand company performance
* Engage with vendors to optimize costs and payments terms when relevant
* Manage and optimize cash flows including overseeing the invoicing process to ensure compliance with customers' requirements and follow up on payments with customers
* Interact with relevant governmental and customer portals to ensure timely reporting of requirements and compliance
* Compliance with group timetable, bookkeeping policies, group financial guidelines, and other group reporting requirements
* Compliance with statutory reporting including VAT, WHT Income Taxes, etc. with assistance from the external advisor and group finance
* Reporting and optimization of IKTVA, ICV, and similar programs to relevant entities with assistance from external advisors when needed.
* Prepare material for year-end reporting etc.
* Manage and update the approval matrix
* Ad hoc financial and management support
* Management and development of a team of bookkeepers/controllers including clear goal setting, structured feedback process and career development using Welltec's HR tools and includes the following:
* Oversee and maintain a fixed asset register
* Vendor postings, reconciliation, and management
* Debtor postings, reconciliation, and management
* Bank payments and reconciliation
* Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
* Payroll calculation, payout, reconciliation, and reporting
The ideal candidate will be:
* Deadline-orientated and approach challenges with a positive mindset. and ability to work in and manage a small team.
* Have strong professional skills in accounting and am proficient with finance software, dynamics, and PowerPoint, and be a highly motivated individual who is willing to work under pressure.
* Have an experience from a similar position in an international company and possess a good intercultural understanding.
* Knowledge of Saudi Arabia's statutory requirements
Fluent in English and Arabic, (writing and verbal) - Saudi nationals are
