Role Scope Statement
The role of the Field Service Coordinator is to support the day-to-day
operations for all Field Service activity in their assigned region. The
services provided may consist of; inspection, removal, installation,
commissioning, repair, rebuild, general maintenance, and troubleshooting of
rotating equipment. The coordinator is required together with the field
service supervisor to support all field service activities in his assigned
region from the tender to the completion
Accountabilities
* Actively support a positive safety culture to reduce injuries and maintain a safe work environment
* Support the development, implementation and compliance with operating model and business process management tool
* Maintain data in business process management tool, including new job requests, quotations, purchase orders and job status
* Schedule and dispatch Field Service Technicians, maintain job calendars, and lead weekly scheduling meetings
* Provide Field Service Technicians all necessary documentation (pre-job pack) required to execute job scope prior to dispatch
* Assemble required documentation for Customer invoice and job close-out (final billing package)
* Work closely with sales engineers to obtain job updates and Customer coordination
* Schedule contractors as needed, gather and review final costs
* Assist sales engineers to obtain insurance certificates and safety statistics
* Schedule safety training, drug tests, background checks, and maintain database according to specific Customer requirements
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
* ‎3+ years of relevant office experience required, experience in a field repair business preferred
* Associates Degree in Business highly desired
* Strong Customer-service focus, with a personal ownership and initiative regarding quality, meeting deadlines, and problem-solving
* Excellent computer skills including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required, with an ability to adapt and learn new systems
* Professional, clear, articulate speaking skills on the phone and in person
* Solid basic math understanding and skills
* Demonstrated track record of being detail-oriented and meeting deadlines in a job with a high volume of data and many moving parts
* Collaborative, approachable, and professional
* Dependable, reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
* Able to respond to questions and issues after hours or on weekends as required
* Able to travel overnight occasionally for training and customer visits.
