Local Unit & Position Description:
IBU Inspection is seeking a Business Controller to join our team in Al Khobar,
Saudi Arabia, reporting to the Operational manager for the Saudi Inspection
business. The business Controller will have a broad responsibility but will
primarily handle all financial management reporting. E.g., financial
performance, project profitability, and control measures and KPIs for Saudi
Inspection Business.
Position Qualifications:
* Manage and follow up financial performance; manage the target setting and dynamic forecasting processes.
* Manage reporting on business results and mega project profitability on a monthly basis.
* Monitoring Saudization percentage and IKTVA progress on the country as well as mega contracts level on a monthly basis.
* Assure billing follow the customer contract term and project manager requests.
* Play a role in the commercial processes, including pricing, tender, and potentially contract review.
* Coordinate and manage monthly closing activities with high quality.
* Leading cash flow improvement with the unit through involvement in regular aged debts and WIP reviews.
* Ensure the creation and accurate maintenance of Inspection projects in Oracle for Saudi Arabia.
* Manage the finance interface between the production tool "iI2" and Oracle via liaison with coordinators.
* Monitor and assess key performance parameters via periodic analysis of the unit goals, benchmark monitoring, performance indicators, project profitability analysis, and internal audits/review.
* Advisory/assistance to the line manager in finance and closely supporting other departments.
* Follow up with Global Shared Services Chief Accountant to ensure timely statutory and other legal compliances related to the Business unit legal entity and ensure that governance principles regarding financial management are applied and adequately implemented.
* Lead the optimization of work efficiency and cost.
* Support maintenance and co-ordination of financial governance as documented in the DMS and ensuring adherence to IBU Internal Services Instructions "ISI" and procedures.
* Ad-hoc assistance to IBU Mgmt. team as time/workload permits.
