Headquartered in the Houston, Texas, CB&I has the global expertise and
strategically located operations to provide engineering, procurement and
construction solutions for our customers' most complex energy projects. This
position is for the Canadian Operations, Horton CBI Limited, located within
Sturgeon Industrial Park, Sturgeon County, AB.
The Senior Project Accountant reports to the Accounting Manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, Finance and Accounting
Administration; financial reporting, reconciliations, Accounts Payable,
Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Job Cost, General accounting, posting
journal entries, compiling, and analyzing account information. This position
is an individual and team contributor role requiring "can do" attitude and
self-motivated learner. The role directly reports to the functional Finance
and Accounting lead.

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
* Works closely with other Finance team members to maintain the integrity of all financial operations.
* Prepare monthly financial statements, reports and/or records by collecting, analyzing and summarizing account information
* Conducts research and analysis as requested
* Review/post Intercompany A/P & A/R transactions
* Review/post journal entries and Client Receipts
* Liaise with Local Accountants in various countries for Inter-company transactions
* Utilize JD Edwards or other Integrated Accounting Software System
* Adheres to company policies & procedures
* Assists employees and managers as required
* Performs additional tasks and assignments as requested

Essential Qualifications and Education:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
* Potential CPA Candidate preferred
* Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office software is desired (Excel)
* Strong customer service skills
* Ability to meet work requirements within established timelines
* Communicate effectively verbally, and in writing
* Effective attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
* Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
* Self-motivated, quick learner.
* Candidate must have experience in KSA tax and IKTVA.
* Must have ACCA or CIMA.
