Must have thorough knowledge of project control/business AACE recommended
practices.
Proficient at progress calculation methods and procedures for Engineering /
Procurement and Construction.
Ability to effectively interface with other project control areas (i.e. cost
and risk) to perform productivity analysis, as well as qualitative and
quantitative risk analysis for complex projects.
Interface Management (facilitating communication between and among Project-
Managers, Discipline Leads, System Administrator and Document Controller)
Ability to liaise with project management team, subcontractors and clients on
all matters relating to cost control;
Ability to assign and review the work of subordinate cost analysist staff.
Ability to liaise with finance and accounting in the development and review of
invoices. Invoice Advice Reports (Verify & Approve Invoice Advice Reports
before issuance to Finance).
Cost Management/Control (Provide cost control services to project teams to
ensure proper project cost management and profitability monitoring)
Project Analysis and Forecasting (Analysis of project schedule and costing
trends).
Project Updates (weekly progress-collection & updates; schedule updates; cost
control & management; change order/variation management; cash flow status;
subcontractor progress management; weekly upload of project data to Project
Controls Database)
Project Reporting (issue of WPQ Internal weekly project status reports and
Clients External progress reports).

Primavera Planner and Primavera Risk Analysis software knowledge a plus.
Experience in developing and updating schedules for pre-feasibility,
feasibility and EPC phases of a project.
Experience in reviewing and monitoring project schedules developed by others
to ensure project goals and objectives are met.
Maintaining a Master Schedule that incorporates schedules prepared and updated
by different project teams located in different geographical locations.
Prepare complex engineering and construction schedules for major project
proposals and projects in process; maintaining schedules on a current basis as
well as ensuring proper timing, compatibility and competency of supporting
schedules; initiating or preparing reports to management regarding project
scheduling; working closely with project management to improve performance in
project planning and execution; assigning and reviewing work of subordinate
scheduling staff.

Degree qualified with minimum ‎10+ years of experience.
