Overview / Responsibilities:
Wood is currently recruiting for an IT Technician Trainee in AL Khobar, SA
*
Assist the IT Manager in all aspects of IT support both in office and remotely
* Compile and update accurate tracking for all IT assets across all offices
* Perform in office IT assurance and problem solving
* Support site staff with remote IT assistance
* Image new computers / laptops for new employees
* Liaise with Kyndryl (Formally IBM) to ensure correct software and hardware configuration
* Ensure all staff have the correct IT hardware and issue as required
* Support the client as required by the respective contracts
* Administer systems supported locally (telephone, security…)
Skills / Qualifications:
* Technical IT degree, certification in IT support or relevant experience
* Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, Outlook is required
* Experience in Oracle system and SharePoint is a plus
* Adherence to IT security policies
* Excellent administrative skills
* Strong communication skills
* Team oriented and results focused
* Can do and proactive approach
* Detail oriented and organized
* Commitment to continuous learning and development
