Title
Systems Engineer

Purpose
To identify, evaluate and resolve business issues, manage budgets, provide
leadership and work on abstract problems across all functional areas within
IT.
As an Infrastructure Systems Engineer, you will be working closely with a
group of highly professional individuals to provide end-to-end infrastructure
solutions. We are a highly technical company, but we have an unusually strong
focus on business outcomes. Your focus will be on managing critical business
infrastructure for clients. You 'll be a key tech person in our systems
implementations, but will work collaboratively with other team members to come
up with the right solutions and implement them.

Responsibilities
* Responsible for executing on functional and business goals of the group and the organization
* Assist management in policy development and technology planning
* Works cross-functionally with Information Technology partners, business partners, suppliers and other teams to ensure successful completion of programs and projects
* Develops project plans, objectives and schedules that support company objectives and business unit/department needs. Works with the business unit to define the scope, business objectives and required project results and develops project schedules and budgets
* Estimates negotiate and obtain human, software and hardware resources to meet the group's requirements
* Manages and monitors project schedules, progress and costs to ensure projects are completed on time and effectively. Maintains, adjusts and updates program and project plans as needed. Consolidates, communicates and manages all issues and risks affecting the program or project
* Develop and supervise staff by defining and prioritizing goals; providing guidance and work direction; promoting personal and professional development; and providing staff training
* Writing a script to automate the regular administration tasks
* Configuring and deploying servers (windows/linux)
* Providing 3rd level support for hard/deep problems
* Developing and refining images for standard operating environment
* Managing datacenter activities
* Diagnosing windows server
* Configuring new systems (including researching price/performance, compatibility, etc)
* Acting as a technical mentor for infrastructure support team
* Going deep on a technical problem and emerging with the answer
* Preparing a consulting report for a client
* Participate in proof of concepts and prototypes.
* Participate in and/or conduct solution design reviews
* Collaborate with a team of Technical Project Managers, Subject Matter Experts, vendors, business etc
* Developing system designs for new prospects (i.e. pre sales engineering)

Education
B.S. in Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information Technology •
Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills •
Preferably with one year experience in any IT field (new graduates will still
be considered) • "Preferably" Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE)

* Operating Systems (Windows, Linux, MAC)
* Comprehensive knowledge of the functions and operational characteristics of IT professional services and bestpractices
* Possesses an engineering background
* Ability to research and design effective solutions to user requirements
* Possesses excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Possesses presentation and rapport skills
* Ability to be Proactive, self motivating and showing initiatives
* Ability to understand and carry out complex oral and written instructions
* Ability to communicate effectively, both orally, and in writing

Required Experinence
At least ‎5 years of experience in information technology with ‎4+ years of
experience in large scale system architecture methods and designs within a
corporate environment.

Required Languages
Must have excellent interpersonal and written communication skills (English).
Knowledge in Arabic is a plus.
