Accounting Manager

Currently, we are seeking a dynamic person to take on the role Accounting
Manager based in KSA-Khobar.

Objective :

Manage, monitor, and evaluate financial processes within organizations.
Collect, analyze, verify, and report financial information and financial
performance to make well-informed financial decisions.

General Responsibilities:
* Oversee and monitor various accounting activities and comply with relevant regulations, laws, and standards, accounting activities that may include accounts payable and receivable, general ledger maintenance, financial analysis and reporting, budgeting, forecasting, revenue, and asset accounting.
* Influence overall accounting policies and direction, including the definition of roles and responsibilities.
* Ensure accurate, timely, and relevant information on financial accounts and governance matters is provided to the executive team.
* Achieve compliance with financial accounting and governance requirements in line with DPDHL governance guidelines.
* Ensure preparation of financial statements as per accounting and accounting governance guidelines and timely implementation of changes to conform to relevant financial standards and to achieve a clean external audit report.
* Oversee all audit processes and issue resolution together with line finance and auditing organization.
* Ensure accurate and timely statutory & financial reporting in accordance with legal, regulatory, accounting, and tax standards, as well as accounting/controlling guidelines and requirements.
* Ensure preparation of monthly closing reports and forecasting reports to achieve compliance with global requirements.
* Ensure policies and procedures on intercompany reconciliation are being respected and reports are delivered on time and meet quality standards and resolve escalated issues on intercompany reconciliation.
* Lead Accounting Staff -supervising a small accounting team.
* Support country FD in day-to-day financial queries and Financial Planning & Analysis.
Qualification:
*
Bachelor 's degree in Finance.
* A master's degree in finance or accounting. (Preferable)
* ‎10+ years of experience in Finance or Accounting with at least ‎5 years of leadership experience

Knowledge & Skills:
* Accounting, Finance, VAT, Tax and ZAKAT, Compliance and Internal Control.
* Experience in Supply Chain and Logistic business.
* IFRS and Local GAAP.
* Meet timeline and work under pressure.
* Deal with internal and external stakeholder.
* Excellent communication skills (Arabic & English).
