Position Summary
The Packaging Specialist is responsible for supporting Nestle global and/or
market specific business strategies by ensuring timely and efficient
implementation of new products and processes in the factory. This to be
achieved by managing new product development projects from the conceptual
stage until launch at a factory level and by efficiently communicating with
both internal and external partners. As well as supporting the business by
identifying packaging savings and implementing them, and contributing to
Nestle's commitment on plastics by supporting the trials and implementation of
categories' plastic roadmaps at the factories.
A day in the life of...
* Manage the development and introduction of new packaging within the factory while complying with PS&C standards.
* Manage technical projects, support factory and marketing teams in terms of projects / initiatives related to packaging, product, processes, and technologies including 60:40 while ensuring compliance with both Nestle policies and procedures and legislative requirements.
* Identify and implement saving projects on packaging materials or pallet pattern improvement for logistical efficiency.
* Support CTAG teams on implementing the Plastic Roadmaps from each category for 6th October and Bonjorno Factories, with trials in the Factory with converters.
What will make you successful
* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
* 0-2 years of experience
* AutoCAD experience is preferred
