ABOUT SHIFT EV:
Shift EV is a fast-growing electric vehicle technology company, based in
Cairo, Egypt. Our vision is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles in
Egypt and the region by developing state-of-the-art electric drivetrain
solutions. You will work with world-class technology veterans from MIT, the
University of Grenoble, Intel, and Corning to build a venture with
transformative potential.
YOU’LL WORK ON:
* Accurate recording of journal entries, and ensure correct allocation of cost centers.
* Monthly closing cycle.
* All accounting modules maintain – Accounts receivables, Accounts payables and General ledger.
* Balance sheet reconciliations.
* Bank reconciliation.
* Review and reconcile employee cash advances.
* Assist the financial department with external audit requirements.
* Maintain an organized and updated financial data to be usable to assist in costing and Financial planning purposes.
* Fixed assets register.
YOU ARE:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
* 4+ years of experience in Accounting.
* ERP User preferred SAP.
* Excellent knowledge and working with Microsoft Excel.
* Detailed oriented.
* Strong verbal communication skills.
* Aware of cost allocation and types.
* Aware of VAT, with-holding taxes submission.
