Tendering and Quotation Specialist

You will be working as Tendering and Quotation Specialist and will be the part
of Electrification business area for Distribution Solutions division based in
Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Sales Support Manager and
will be responsible for tendering and supporting to increase the domestic
sales orders of Electrifications products through our bidding department in
cooperation with LPG 's, product managers, supply chain and engineering team
in order to achieve customers' and consultant's requirements.

Your responsibilities

• Delivering the complete technical offers with all relevant documents together with price level and max


• Allowing discounts through the coordination with the product group approved levels, providing technical support for the sales teams, including provision of complete high quality submittal including guarantee schedules, compliance lists, deviation lists and catalogues as per scope of supply


• Reviewing all projects documents in early stage of bidding, highlighting and transferring the existing obstacles & chances & missing as well as threats in project documents


• Using the offering tools along with ABB sales process tools at the level of excellence for the products and project handling


• Handling offers that need special pricing, coordinating with supply chain managements or directly with sub-suppliers to get the max, discounts possible besides looking for all technical solutions that can reduce the cost and satisfy the customer


• Keeping records for all offers with the related costs and discounts history and to be a part of the tendering criteria (Vision ahead)


• Following up with sales for project status (Won - Lost - Running), coordinate for required support in order to secure the running projects and change them to won.

Your background

• Have bachelor 's degree in Electrical engineering


• Have ‎1-‎3 years of experience in similar tendering unit or Switchgear Design


• Fluent spoken & written English and Arabic language is a must.


• Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple tasks-Efficient time management


• Have Capability to learn to bid in different products with complete responsibilities for risks considerations during evaluation or during order execution.
