About the Job:
An opportunity has arisen for a Driver to join the Rooms Division team in
Jumeirah Jabal Omar Pe-opening Hotel. The main duties and responsibilities of
this role:
* Complete day-to-day activities by following all relevant departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner while delivering a quality service to guests and maintaining standards of excellence.
* Adhere to all relevant Health, Safety and Environment procedures, instructions and controls so that Jumeirah Group provides world class and luxurious hospitality services to its guests.
* Transport guests with the Buggies wherever required within the resort following the schedule given by the Team Leader, or upon guest request to ensure a timely manner response and achieve the ultimate guest's satisfaction.
* Help and assist in delivering food and beverage products and general items to various places within the property in order to support the Food & Beverage department with the ultimate delivery service and ensure delivering guest requests on time.
* Inspect the Buggy regularly to ensure that it is serviced, the battery is recharged at the end of each shift, and it is clean and ready for use at all times.
* Report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of safety and hygiene at all times.
* Identify and assist with security matters as a first point of call for guests checking into the SBU to ensure any security risks are minimized.
* Perform related tasks and duties as assigned and deemed responsible by management.

About you:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and
qualifications:

• High School Certificate or equivalent from an accredited School.


• Valid and accredited Driver's License in the applicable jurisdiction.


• ‎0 to ‎2 years of experience (preferably within the hospitality industry).


• Very good command of speaking, reading, and writing English language.


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


• Strong customer service orientation.
