The primary function of the Bit Runner is to oversee critical bit runs and
have responsibility for monitoring drill bit and BHA performance, advising on
the correct drilling parameters throughout the bit run and collecting data in
real-time to enable further, more detailed analysis to be undertaken.

Primary Responsibilities :
* Liaising with Operator Representative, Drilling Crew, Directional Personnel and Geologist prior to and during drilling
* Report to Operator Representative on a daily basis with written summary report of previous days drilling
* Report to Sales Engineer on a daily basis with relevant information including previous days drilling and up to date drilling at time of contact
* Hydraulics calculation (simulation) to be performed prior to and during drilling
* Inspection of drill bit and nozzle preparation prior to trip in hole
* Drill out procedures for cement and casing float/shoe
* Conduct "Drill Off Tests" for each formation and record results (WOB, RPM, Torque and ROP relationships)
* Advise on correct combination of drilling parameters for each application (relationship between ROP and durability, directional drilling requirements etc)
* Ability to recognize and monitor different downhole vibration modes (Axial, Lateral and Torsional vibration) from surface and downhole measurements
* Preparation of a full post run report with photographs, operating parameters chart, and survey data
