Job Description:
Sutherland is seeking an analytical person to join us as an Lead - Data
Engineer.
Data Engineer in this role get to:
* Must have Databricks, Spark with Python, Azure Synapse, Azure Data Factory, Azure SQL/Strong SQL / NoSQL, Pyspark
* Hands-on-experience in developing data lake solutions using Azure (Azure data factory for ingestion, Data Lake gen 2 and Azure SQL server for storage, Azure analysis service for transformations, Azure data bricks)
* Implement a robust data pipeline using Qlik Replicate
* Must have knowledge on Snowflake server
* Create reusable and scalable data pipelines.
* Development and deployment of new data platforms.
* Person must know French language
* Well versed on ER diagrams, Entity Relationships, Primary/Foreign keys etc.
* Well versed with DW concepts
* Very good communication and documentation skills
* Prefer to have: Power BI
Qualifications:
Our most successful candidates will have :
* 4-6 years relevant experience in working with MS SQL Server - 2008/2008R2/2012/2014 is mandatory
* Creating tables, views, stored procedures and functions
* Creating indexes to improve database performance
* Prepare documentations and specifications
* Reviewing query performance and optimizing code
* Technical support to resolve support issues
* Exposure to ETL tools such as SSIS or Talend is a must
* Exposure to data visualization tool like Tableu, PowerBI ect….is a plus
