FUNCTION:
* Responsible for the development and support of business system applications.
* Provide operational and user support for business system applications.
PRIMARY TASKS:
* Provides comprehensive level of assistance to ensure smooth and efficient operations.
* Troubleshoots day-to-day user issues. Gathers and analyzes data, provides possible solutions, works with vendors to resolve problems.
* Diagnosing, isolating and implementing remedies for system failures caused by errors in application code.
* Engage in developing new software or modifying the university's existing software.
* Ensures that programming and enhancements is completed according to technology standards.
* Provide technical assistance to project teams and undertake technical project roles when required.
* Prioritizes and manages multiple projects simultaneously, and follow-up on issues in a timely manner.
* Follow the university rules and regulations.
* Undertake other duties as required by the Manager.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems.
* 3 years of related experience in relevant field.
* Highly developed organizational and time management skills.
* Ability to work under pressure, unsupervised, and as a member of a team.
