Objectives
* Responsible for managing the data warehouse, reporting & analytics tools in the business. It is a role with part technical & part commercial responsibilities.
* Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly trend analysis of VMK's financial information.
* Prepare monthly management reports of VMK.
* Prepare & maintain Disaster Recovery Plans for VMK.
Tasks
* Maintain integrity & confidentiality of financial data & supervise Disaster Recovery planning.
* Work closely with Finance & Commercial teams on budgeting & planning.
* Drive the definition & implementation of KPI's.
* Forecast future performance & identify risks.
* Work with other teams on analysis for product development & profitability analysis.
* Drive and/or assist in various reconciliation & revenue assurance exercises.
* Proactively drive overall reporting function.
* Manage business requirements for reporting & analysis in a structured way.
* Work with analytical functions (Finance/Marketing/Sales) to proactively develop tools to support analysis & decision-making.
* Prepare & evaluate departmental & business level financial reports.
* Prepare monthly accounts of VMK for submission to VMMEA.
* Prepare data analysis & interpretation for VMMEA management review.
* Review business activity & identify recommendations for VMK management, sales, & customer operations.
* Perform trend analysis & comparison of performance against budget, drill-down and/or ad-hoc analysis.
* Develop presentation layer for reports in Excel and/or other dashboard tools for report distribution & publication.
* Develop databases & spreadsheets, to improve financial data analysis & reporting.
Education
* At least 4-5 years ' experience in a similar position (Telecom Industry, BI/MIS).
* Bachelor or master's degree in telecommunications or IT degree.
* Additional training courses & seminars is a plus.
* Business studies welcomed.
Professional qualification
* Hands-on & management experience of BI & Data Warehousing required.
* Experience in planning/budgeting & management reporting.
* At least five years of technical experience working with BI, DWH, ESB.
* Experience in developing for/using QlikView (BI tool) is a big plus.
* Track record of successful management of the implementation of BI reports.
* Work in an Agile development environment that enforces Scrum methodology is a plus.
* SQL experience is preferred
* Experience in managing supplier relationships.

* Excellent communication and presentation skills.
* Good negotiation skills.
* Fluent in spoken and written English and Arabic.
* Numerate with clear understanding of delivering on financial results.
