OCONUS Senior Logistician (Secret)

What You Will Be Doing
Tyto Senior Logistician is responsible for overseeing all shipping and
personnel logistics throughout the SWA theatre including, but not limited to,
Kuwait, Jordan, Bahrain, and Iraq.
Responsibilities:
* Enhance product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory.
* Organize and manage inventory for a laydown yard at multiple bases in SWA
* Procurement support will include updating/maintenance of project Bill of Materials, identification/notification of hardware/software end-of-sale and end-of-life, and obtaining necessary customer approvals for system procurements and other activates as required.
* Contact vendors for developing and/or maintaining warranty deliverable documentation.
* Maintain documentation on shipment tracking, equipment inventory, damaged/lost/stolen equipment reports, and ensuring inventory levels do not lead to a work stoppage.
* Single Point of Contact interfacing between project team and established freight forwarder, and sole authorizer of shipment releases.
* Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.
* Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Overseas subcontracted laborers during material receipt and inventory.
* A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
* Oversee personnel tracking requirements and theatre movement authorizations.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Active Secret Clearance
* Must be a US Citizen with a valid US Passport
* A Bachelor's degree in a related field, or equivalent experience
* Six or more years' experience in OCONUS logistics and working knowledge of inventory management processes, asset management, warehouse operations, material fielding processes, DD-‎250 and turnover procedures and experience developing the following documents and policies including but not limited to: DA Form ‎3161, DA Form ‎1687, AR-‎710-‎2, DA PAM ‎710-‎2-‎1
* Familiarity with DPAP IUID requirements
* Experience in DoD property management practices
* Logistics Management Institute (LMI) or equivalent certifications
* Capable of obtaining and holding a Kuwait work VISA-‎18
* Must be able to clear CRC Medical/Dental/Background Check requirements
* Certified for operation of a forklift
* Ability to operate a pallet jack and lift up to ‎75 lbs
* Must meet the in-country employment requirements
